Review of Bar Promise
If I can get a seat this is my favorite bar for a serious drink in Beijing. The drinks are always made to perfection with the Hendricks Gin and Tonic taking the top position for me. The drink is poured over large chunks of ice which cools the drink without watering it down. Complementary snacks and friendly staff make this a great place for taking a quiet (but Serious) drink. Call ahead though to make sure there will be space the bar only seats 10 or so.
