Argo is set in a group of small courtyard rooms, which makes for a cozy, intimate dining experience - in fact, it might be a touch too cozy if you're in there with only one or two other couples! The service is friendly and prompt, the food fresh and tasty, and there is a large choice, with plenty for vegetarians.
We ordered the vegetarian platter, which was a bit small for over RMB50, but other portions were generally reasonable for the price. The hummus and tzatziki were wonderful, but the baba ganoush could have used more flavour (try Gingko for amazing baba ganoush). The lentil soup was hearty and perfect for a chilly winter's evening, and the spanokopita is also recommended. There's a good selection of coffee, which was lucky as the desserts are limited and the one we wanted was not available.
The final touches for us were the ouzo... and the party of Greeks at the next table! Will definitely be back to try more.
