I've only been skiing about half a dozen times, and all of them at Nanshan starting back in 2003 or something. It's not a bad joint, convenient to get to, well priced, and the rental equipment is sufficient for my novice needs.

I went there on new year eve and had a ball.

Apart from the times just before and after lunch, I didn't think it was crowded at all. Like most places in China, it can get crowded during peak times and if you plan ahead, you should be able to have fun in spite of that. I packed my own lunch because I can't be bothered taking off my skis etc and lining up for food at the canteen, so I just ate my lunch on the slope when it got too busy.

If any of you fun people want to go there, private message me ahead of time, and may be I'll join you. I'm not related to the operators so don't flame me!
