Been to Biteapitta four times since they reopened in Tongli Studios. Not the nicest location (creepy tongli studios and all), but once you are inside you kinda forget you are in the back Sanlitun Street.
The food is still, or maybe even more amazing and the prices are ridiculously cheap. I mean, 50RMB for the set lunch or the 60+ menus that are too much for two...
C'mon guys, don't be afraid to raise the prices, you are worth it.
But seriously... If there is one food i don't eat it's raw tomato and bell pepper. However, on my last visit, i mistakenly chose fatoush instead of Baba ganoush (I blame Zohan for the mistake) and so i got a salad made of fresh tomatoes, bell peppers and cucumbers. Since i don't like to waste food i said i will at least try it and oh my God, was it good. I ate it all, although i wouldn't even touch it normally.
Everything else is just amazing. Humus, Sharwama, baba ganoush.... really amazing.
There's nothing but praise for this place.
The owners are very personable, they are hard working people and they live for the place, and it shows in their service, food and atmosphere.
Last time i stoped by was today and they were absolutely packed for lunch... No wonder, they're just perfect
Shalom
