Miraculous what they've done in the antiseptic confines of Jianwai Soho

I would not have expected Taidian to be so nice inside, given its location in the soulless, hospital-white morass of Jianwai Soho. But once you are past the dirty little Jianwai elevator and enter Taidian, you really are transported to another world. The foot massage was great and the seating quite comfy; I did not partake in the complimentary food afterward but looked pretty yummy, and unlike other spas, you don't eat in the massage rooms but rather in a special separate cafe area. Classy and cozy.
