Great place for a casual meal

I've always had a good time at Pass By. The atmosphere is great, the staff friendly and the service efficient. They're open late too, which is handy if you need a bite to eat after most Beijing restaurant kitchens have closed.

The dishes vary a little when it comes to quality, but if you order the right thing the food is surprisingly good. I've always loved their "Hutong Pizza" - thick pieces of lamb covered in cheese. Probably not the healthiest meal but damn tasty.

The sandwiches aren't bad either, and the draft beer comes in very generous portions.

A great place for a casual meal with a big group of friends.
