There's only a handful of galleries left at 798 that are worth checking out on a regular basis - and Faurschou is definitely one of them.
I can confidently say I have never seen a bad show here. Their exhibitions are consistently high-quality, featuring some of the most cutting edge work on display in Beijing.
The focus here is international rather than local, though they have had exhibitions by high profile Chinese artists like Ai Weiwei. Their real strength, however, is bringing innovative work from around the world to Beijing. In the past year they've had everything from video works by Iranian exile Shirin Neshat to video installations by American artist Tony Oursler.
If you only visit a couple of galleries at 798 (and it's worth being selective these days) then Faurschou should be one of them.
