Let me specify that is just about the NLGX location which in my opinion rocks! The SLT one is not my favorite for reasons that are my own but we're not going there!
As a bar, Salud has personality: The staff made up of a mix of Chinese, French and even Estonians is friendly and amazing. The drinks are reasonably priced and fairly well made although i'll think twice before ordering their punch.. was more like a lemon gimlet. but where they do shine is their amazing selection of home flavored rums that is unrivaled in Beijing.
As far as grub goes, I have eaten there more than i few times and it's is correct if nothing else. They have a few taps and sandwhiches to tighten up once's stomach but it's not gourmet food by any means.
All in all, probably one of the best bars in Beijing! They do not overdo anything, they just do a lot of things right!
