People who always go to FC club events must be a bit desperate for some reason. Either desperately wanna change jobs, either desperately wanna find a date.
Been there twice. If I didn't see some friends were also there, I wouldn't stay longer than 5 mins. Let me sum it up, there r three kinds of people I've met at FC Club events:
1. Unsocial nerds: most of them r females, they want to get some changes in their lives, but they r not sociable to get enough information and connections, so they want to join some networking events like this to help them, or lets say, to force themselves to be more sociable. But of course, it's a failure.
2. Mid-aged single guys: Maybe they r rich, maybe just so-so. But r all aiming at those social butterflies. and all willingly to buy drinks for those lovely young ladies, who still wants to stay and talk to them after they got their first free drink.
3. Social butterflies: Some of them go to all kinds of parties. Those social butterflies can be girls and guys. But at FC club events, most of them r girls. They either wants to introduce their business, either to introduce themselves. They talk to everyone, they hand out their business cards everywhere, they drink a lot, laugh a lot. Looks like they r having lots of fun during the whole event, but they r also busy in comparing their targets.
I really don't want to talk about jobs and such after work. To those people who r smiling at me and waiting to talk about their business, I can only ask one question, I'm sure most of people here have the same question but they don't ask directly, they talk for one or two hours to guess, to compare, to conclude, and that questions is: do you make lots of money?
