Review of Sukhothai
Considering all the bastardized and localized Thai food in Beijing. I would recommend Sukhothai for the food and service.
The Pad Thai was perfect, the Tod Mun (Fried Fish Cakes) were the right texture and had Kaffir Lime Leaves in it, as it should be. The Sum Tom, or Green Papaya salad had the correct amount of acid to spice combination.
I would stay away from the beef steak on a sizzling platter since it came covered in some toxic radioactive red sauce.
