Great place and great people...

I had heard about Lily's before moving to Shuangjing and had no idea where it was. After a few days of wandering around hungry, I found it and decided to give it a try.

The food more often than not surprises me and I forget where I am. The fried ham, the pizza, the lasagne, the salmon, the chicken parmesan, the burgers... are just some of my favorites. I've enjoyed better meals here than at most of the (much) more expensive restaurants that I used to frequent.

You can't complain with the prices either. The prices are already good, but they manage to have a daily tea time, happy hour, and two daily specials.

The owners are great. I did have one less than ideal plate of fried chicken once. The owner came inside (she was outside when my plate arrived), walked past my plate, turned around and apologized. She couldn't believe that it had made it out of the kitchen. She corrected the problem quickly. It was that experience that really sold me on Lily's. They sincerely want to make their product better and for you to happy with what you get.

For those who mentioned the speed of service, they are right. At times the kitchen can be a bit slow, but the food is cooked when you order. It doesn't sit around and get cold. I come here all the time and I don't think it has ever taken more than 15-20 minutes.
