Good value veggie fast food

This simply decorated and clean restaurant is a great choice for vegetarians in a rush or on a budget. They have buffet lunches for just RMB18 at their Guanghua Lu location and you can choose from the menu in the evening at both locations. The dishes are simple and delicious, and so realistic that at points we had to double check that what we were eating wasn´t actually meat! But no, it´s all vegetarian or vegan. The staff are very friendly and, while not pushy, are happy to chat about vegetarianism or environmentalism (the message is stronger at the Dadongqiao branch with posters and leaflets everywhere). Highly recommended.
