Went here last evening with the wife and 4 year old after seeing the reviews and their website. Located across from the Rosedale Hotel in Lido was convenient for me. There is a very nice outdoor area but it was much too warm last night so we went inside. Inside was furnished very well and was attractive. Being a Friday night, we expected more people, but there were only 3 others at 7pm, so we had our choice of seating.
The website indicates the restaurant is kid friendly with a kids menu and coloring books and crayons to keep the young ones happy. I guess they have not implemented the coloring books but the waitress indicated instead of the childs menu if we want something from the menu, they can just get a smaller amount.
We decided not to the that and ordered the smoked salmon( came with 2 thin strips of salmon, tasty but a very small portion for the price), strawberry salad (3 little slices of strawberries, a sprinkling of blue cheese, and lettuce for 48 yuan, Buffalo wings( 6 very little wings with not much taste), Reuben sandwich (a lot of sauerkraut and a few small pieces of corned beef, tasty because I like kraut, but not filling), and 3 fresh juices (watermelon was ok, pineapple juice was warm with no taste, apple juice tasted salty)
We were still hungry but decided that no matter what we order the portion is going to be small so we decided not to. The price for all this was 257 yuan and would have been higher if the juices were not purchased during their happy hour.
So, in summary, nice venue, there was quick service, but again only 3 other people there, servings small, and not really kid friendly. So for us, Peter's Tex Mex is a much better choice.

I wanted to follow-up on my review made earlier. Since my posting, the manager of Park Side contacted me to express his apologies for what I experienced. The manner in which he addressed each item I had described was very professional and I was quite impressed.
Basically for my kid friendly comments, it seems that the website information was a bit premature and effective this week, the restaurant will be kid friendly.Additionally, portion sizes are being evaluated and a new juicer has been purchased.
So, I will give it another go in a few weeks and perhaps in the meantime some of you can check it out as well.
