Went there Saturday with my cousins. They laughed at me for choosing this place through beijinger review lol
order the meat group platter and rice. The meat was good and tender but the portion was not enough at all. Next time I am proably going to order some indivdual platter instead. All that was left was a bunch of hungry customers and a crap load of rice. The setting was pretty good, but like my friends called it this is type of place that is catered toward laiwai.
this is a 2.5 star by the way

"the portion was not enough at all"
Holy shit, you must be a big eater -- those fricking plates are huge
if you tried to split a platter with 5 of your friends, of course it's not going to be enough ...

One thing you CANNOT complain about at Rumi is portion size. That's one place I know I'll always get quality da'bao.

Re: Maybe I got high exceptions
let me tell you the difference between iranian and chinese eating:
chinese eat everything except the rice, which they use to get filled up after everything else is gone.
with iranian dishes all ingredients go hand in hand: you eat the meat WITH the rice. and this should really make you full. so, i can only agree with the others, in general, portions at any iranian restaurant should be enough to not leave the places hungry. quality is a different story though.
