It may be not Shin Kong's fault but the brand stalls in this store sell products from past years pretending they were new. Look up top brand's web pages and you will find that there are not the latest products in the stores. Staff is well trained to talk you into this old stuff, mentioning "special China editions". Most of the time thats not true. In our case we found out that a sales person from Armani tried to sell some cosmetic creme as "new" and "latest arrival" but after checking online this was a 3 years old version already replaced in HK, Japan, Europe and America. This is very bad habit. The top brands can do so because they believe Chinese costumers (Shaanxi coal miner's wifes and second wifes) are rich but not educated shoppers. At least they should not try this with foreigners.
