We (2 pax) walked in on a Saturday at 10pm. Most tables were empty and had reservation signs on it. We sat down on the only table without that sign near the bar and ordered our drinks which arrived quickly but we had to pay immediately. This seems to be common habit nowadays in Beijing. We had half of our drinks when a waiter named Li approached us and told us the table were reserved and we had to move to another one. We complained that no one told us when we sat down and we were even served with drinks at this table. We didn't like to ruin our evening with a useless discussion and accepted to change table. But then half way to the new table waiter Li realized that all other tables had reservations too. He said we could sit down until the group arrives. We realized that only groups are welcome here which order lots of drinks or even bottles. I think d-lounge is just another place that let you feel the greed for money instead of the hospitality of a bar. We will never return.

Re: serves only groups, no hospitality
Agreed. Place caters to groups because they want you to buy bottles in order to enjoy the atmosphere.
The place is a lounge. Some tables should be kept aside for reservations and some should be open to folks that just walk in.
