Review of Home Plate BBQ

Even though they didn't have what I went for, the ribs (sold out at lunch I was informed), I still walked away from this place satisfied and with intentions to return.

First of all the lao wai who are running the place are really nice, and not a fake sort of nice. They were cool.

Chinese staff a bit clueless but it's a new restaurant, I'm sure they'll learn. Still nice people as well, no rudeness or anything.

Pulled pork sandwich was tasty, the baked beans were spicy. The pork dish that was suggested instead of the ribs was a bit dry but big.

Two of us ate and had beers for 99 rmb, that's two main courses and a couple of sides with beer. Super cheap.

I'm looking forward to actually trying the ribs and checking out some more of their excellent selection of side dishes.

Support this place, it's a good one!
