Review of Sukhothai
been at their sanlitun village branch. you cant say ripp-off because the overall food quality is ok but they talk you into expensive food and drinks. i didn't know there are 3 kinds of fish. if you don't say anything they bring you the most expensive one. with all that sweet and sour sticky past on it you can't distinguish the fish quality anyway. there are no restrooms in the restaurants but they charge extra for the napkins. I am not going there again.

That is clearly a ploy they use, to make you buy the most expensive fish without knowing it. They did exactly that to me. And it doesn't even explain in English what the three different prices are for. I thought it was for the size of the fish.
And frankly I think the food quality is crap, as I said on another thread. I never ate one dish there that tasted like Thai food.
On top of all this, after I complained about giving me the wrong fish, when I finally paid the lady manager claimed they never picked up my money, and tried to make me pay twice. I told her she can check their security camera or we can call the police and they can check it.
