Review of
I've been in Lao Wai's a few times. It's far too big to warrant the amount of people that go in and the layout is not conducive to comfort or socialising.
You have to pay to play table football, though I must concede that the pool is free.
The draft beer is the same as anywhere else on the street, watered down and average, but then it's not exactly like you're breaking the bank at 10 kuai a glass.
All in all, if you're sick of Helens, Red House or La Bamba (all nicer than Lao Wai's imo) and fancy another place to get cheap watery beer then give it a try, otherwise get out of Wudaokou!
