After excessive persuasion on my dining partner's part, I agreed to try this place out. Why would you want a hot dog when you can get bratwust, anyway? In short, it's shit. Admittedly, I wasn't at a "regular" outlet (Wukesong/Mastercard arena, pre-concert), but it still shouldn't have been that shit.

Regular hot dog combo. Dog was dry. Bun tasted like a three-day old Rusk dragged through the desert. Chinese-branded ketchup in a little satchet (that stuff don't fly, kids!) Get out of my mouth, seriously. Dining companion's chili cheese dog was much of a muchness, except they forgot the cheese and sent out cold chili. Epic, epic fails.

The fries were crinkle-cut and a little soggy. Where are these claims of Washington potatoes coming from?! I don't think Washington potatoes come in crinkle. RMB 75? 80? wasted. Gosh.

Admittedly you weren't at a regular outlet... Go try the actual restaurant at Raffles City, Dongzhimen, and see if it's any better. I have to say the food at the restaurant was nothing like you described having at Wukesong... Are you sure that was actually Nathan's?
