Went there for a friend's comedy show last night. Great show and cheerful crowd, BUT..
I went downstairs to get a drink for my friend and myself and asked how much a Hoegaarden was. The Chinese bartender hesitated for a sec and said he wasn't sure if it's 30 kuai or 15 because it could be still in the Happy-Hour (which, according to himself, ends at 10pm). He turned around to ask his boss, a long-haired & bearded American, who told me with a definite POSITIVE face that it was after 10. I paid 30, went back upstairs, checked my phone and it showed 9:23.
Couldn't bother to go back because of the crowdedness. Or go back to that place again, as a matter of fact.

Re: SHAMELESS rip-off
welcome in the 21st century, its a crazy place.
p.s. there are watches, mobile phones etc.
shame on them for trying to rip you-off. shame on you for being so easily ripped-off.
Re: SHAMELESS rip-off
i need to clarify this. it's definitely the bar tender's fault for not letting you know the correct happy hour period. it ends at 9.
