On my way back from a dolphin dive, I stumbled upon a new Dongzhimen location of Nathan's Famous in the basement of Raffles City. Having grown up in New Jersey, I knew Nathan's well and liked it -- they were always cleaner and better than other fast food places.
I had the chili cheese dog, which did not disappoint, and was surprisingly spicy. Seeing something different, I decided to try the lobster wrap -- which actually falls under Nathan's "Arthur Treacher's Fish & Chips" brand, which I remember having with my grandmother when I was a kid. The portion was a bit small, but very tasty, and a little healthier than the rest of my order. Their lemonade also tastes like it was made with lemons -- not just sugar, water and something citrus.
I'd definitely go back -- too much mystery meat in other Beijing hot dogs. Nice to know they have expanded into a more convenient spot. How about a Shuang Jing location?
