We went today for dinner and beers. Happily surprised with the selection of beers as well as with the atmosphere. Being able to order from Ganges was an absolute plus. The only problem (other than the cold, since its not very well isolated) was when the beers came to the table. Both Kelkeny beers seemed to be VERY watered down. I would probably go back again, but when the weather is better and I will stick to local cheap beers. 3 stars because I want to think this is not the usual stuff.

Did you bring it to the attention of the waitstaff to see if they would replace it or refund your money? There are a few issues that can happen with draft beer, and since the staff isn't (or at least shouldn't) be imbibing their own brews on shift, they might not notice until someone tells them.

Watering down beer is highly unlikely unless they physically put water in the cup before they pulled the handle, which customers would see. Chances are much more likely the CO2 mixture was off, or maybe the keg was old, gone off, or it was reaching its last legs.

I actually did not. You are right I should have and maybe that would have solved the issue, but I guess my time in Beijing has lowered my standards about how to deal with issues in restaurants Smile In any case, maybe Paddy's should just check a bit more careful the state of their kegs to make sure this doesn't happen, that would also solve the issue.

Perhaps we should find out whatever bar you and your other ten personalities are working for, then start talking about how it serves up food belonging to orphans and puppy legs disguised as chicken?
