I'm not sure why people feel like they can automatically dismiss any review that they don't agree with as "fake." Seems like either an arrogance problem, or possibly a reasoning disability. Reviews are what they are: relations of a particular person's experience. You take it or leave it. Use it to help you make a decision, but the decision is still yours. If your experience didn't line up with theirs, you let people know. But trying to dismiss everyone else's review because you don't agree smells of some serious insecurity...
My roommate and I live near Yonghegong, and we've been using Jinshisong for some months now. We've found their service to be exemplery in every way. We've tried Beijinggoodies and two others services (their names escape me just now) in the past, but once we found Jinshisong we haven't bothered with anyone else. Everyone else was slow, surly, brought cold food, wrong orders, etc. I've never once had that problem with JSS. One time we ordered the curly fries substitute with our Blue Frog burgers (5RMB extra) and they brought regular fries. We called and they worked it out immediately. Whenever we order two or more of the same item they call personally to make sure it wasn't a mistake. Most of the time they make no mistakes at all.
You are going to pay for delivery, but that's a given. For me the choices are simple: go myself (time, annoyance in traffic); pay another delivery service to provide me with crappy service, cold food and mixed up orders; or pay JSS for good service and reasonably fast delivery. No brainer when you're tired, sick or busy. Do note that each restaurant decides for itself what prices to set for delivery food. Some restaurants have delivery prices identical to in-restaurant. Some do not. That's their choice, not JSS's.
