Good food but too smokey

I like this place. Nice food, nice wines, friendly owner and in general it has a no nonsense atmosphere. It does feel quite French.

But god almighty it is too smokey! I would like to relax after my meal with more booze but the smoke always makes me want to leave.

I recommend the egg & truffle for starter, the hanger steak for main course, and the death by chocolate for dessert. The house wines are nice.
