Review of Great Leap Brewing
This place is a paradise in Beijing. Step inside and you no longer feel like a foreigner in China.
The beer is tasty and the service is quite good.
Back home (Ireland) my hobby was sourcing (and drinking, obviously) craft stouts and ales, so I do actually know quite a bit about booze. And I am sad to admit my body can tolerate a lot of booze. But for whatever reason even if I drink a small amount of beer here (e.g. 4 or 5 pints) I feel absolutely poisoned the next day. Amazingly the hangover is far worse than the one you get from drinking fake Chinese beer.
The beers are also quite expensive.
So for 1 or 2 tasty drinks, this place is good, but your body and wallet will be pissed off if you go beyond that...
