If you are looking for a hip place to see and be seen - Nashville is not for you. Think of Nashville as the polar opposite to XIU bar or one of those beautiful people places. Nashville is salt of the earth and it's delightful. Nashville is no frills and the focus is on great, strong drinks...their single malt offerings rival the very best in Beijing. Also, they have a 2 for 1 happy hour nightly until 8pm. I am a regular at Nashville...and, during the happy hour, I pay RMB 60 for a glass of Ardbeg 10-year-old single malt and get a second glass for free!!! Here's what I like: RMB 60 for a pour of Ardbeg is already insanely cheap...then it becomes essentially RMB 30 during happy hour.
If you go to Ritz Carlon bar (where whisky is the theme), expect to pay at least RMB 140 for one small pour of a half decent single malt.

Re: A Whisky-Lover's Paradise!
Hey Pangzi, I've lived in Beijing for ten years and I have a right to post a positive review.
I received NOTHING for this review. It's the real deal. I'm just passionate about a good whisky deal.
Are you so cynical that you can't accept a positive review to be real? It's real and not paid for.

Re: A Whisky-Lover's Paradise!
Dont know why living for ten years in Beijing proofs that your ad-review is not a little too addy...but comparing your favorite place to some other bar, always sounds fishy to me. Anyway enjoy your drinks.

It may seem fishy to you...that's your right and privilege to express your own opinion; I won't argue with you.
However, we all have a right to our own opinion and I don't agree with yours.
My post was the real deal and I have not received nor will I receive ANY benefit of any kind - other than the satisfaction of sharing a review with my fellow readers of The Beijinger.
