Bizarre, Frenetic, Frazzled Service; Strictly Regulated Portions

First, I've never been a big fan of Element Fresh...I am biased. Recently though, I decided to hit up the Lido Branch and give it another chance.

Food: quite decent; portions are very regulated, though

Wine/Cocktails: Very well done; strong drinks

Service: The environment is very nervous and not relaxed. The staff seem to be under tremendous pressure and do not seem to be handling it well. The waiters speak very, very quickly and don't listen to their customers. It's wham bam and let's you get you your food...and up and out of here as quickly as possible.

Overall, to me Element Fresh is expensive and healthy FAST FOOD.

Just try and ask for a substitution or something somewhat different from the menu...I dare you! It won't happen. It's very, very regimented. They allocate a certain amount of shrimp per dish! I'm serious...it's regulated! I understand many of the ingredients are imported and costly but it makes customers feel that the restaurant is inflexible...and bizarre.

Again, it does not feel like a restaurant. It feels like an expensive fast food delivery device system.
