I have eaten at Eatalia with my girlfriend on one previous occasion. Both times, the food and the service have been very good. I have tried the pizza (margarita), spaghetti (mushroom), fettucine (the new one with aubergine), risotto (mushroom), and salads (caprese and cheese). All were delicious and well-presented. The service from the staff, especially the non-Chinese guy, is good to boot.
Tonight, the owner came into the restaurant as we were eating. Unfortunately, he decided to, as I'm sure he often does when it's not busy, use the back of the restaurant as his office. He conducted telephone calls and spoke to a business associate in the restaurant with a tone that was both high in volume and profanity. You might expect to hear that kind of language if you pay 8元 for a bowl of rice in a restaurant down a side street, but I didn't expect it from someone who presents himself so professionally to his customers.
