Stopped here the other night for dinner with a friend. While the other international restaurants on this street were closing their kitchens early, Arabic Shawarma was still open for business. We were very pleased with the service, and found the food very enjoyable. Nothing radical or new here, but it's great to have more options like these. Plus, given the value, we'll definitely be going back again.
The good: The Greek Salad was very generous on the feta and black olives (25 RMB, a steal), and the hommous was pretty nice, too. After we paid our bill, one of the owners brought us a free sampling of mixed baklava. Awesome!
Could be better: My friend had a falafel sandwich, which was lighter on flavor than we expected, but not at all bad. The kefta with taheneh was alright, but not as good as other arabic restaurants in the city.
The bill for two of us and our soft drinks came to 150, but that was because it was really late and in our hunger we over ordered a bit. Looking forward to another visit soon.
