Review of Annie's
1

I have been a massive Annies fan for a long time. I stuck with em through the price increases and used to order 2 - 3 times a week. I will not be ordering anymore.

I called a couple of days ago to order a lasagne and calamari fritti (this comes to I believe 80 - 90 kuai now) andwe got through the whole order when the guy taking my order turns around and says that I live too far away and need to order more. The way he apporached it did not come across as minnimum order quantity so much as attempted upselling. He did not give a firm number but kept trying to hoist wine or desserts on to me at which point I canceled the order and called Lilly's.

I have never heard of a minnimum quantity and considering I live on Dawanglu (nearest restaurant is Guo Mao) I think it is a live ridiculous given that it is not far at all. Very few people live in Guomao and most live near me or at Shuangjing. I suspect that a new upselling policy has been implemented but then again it may just be the one restaurant
