Nasty tough burgers

I went to homeplate today, had a cheese burger I think they pulled a Mcdonalds with this one, the meat was tough and chewy not made correctly with mince for sure, it had tough stringy bits inside like old steak mixed in to make the pattie, the burger were neever that great there but these were garbage - Maybe it's under new local management now seths gone?

I also had brisket which was good.

Had the same experience there, twice. Both times Burgers were really bad.Wings as well, bad taste.

It's sad to see Homeplate going downhill.

I wonder why.?

One thing you should know about this joint is the meat is slowcooked for days maybe longer...I can taste that slowcooked meaty chewy taste everytime I try their food....something like putting all the ingredients into a rice cooker and setting it on "warm" for a few days....but I never had problems with the taste....just found it all too spicy...aka they use the same sauced crockpot for all their meats...
