I recently went to Corso Como for the afternoon tea as I was in the area and I enjoy British tea. I had seen online promotions for this before. In general I would say if you're wanting a good British style tea experience, there are better options. My Earl Grey tea was served in a small personal pot, which was fine but provided with one single tea bag, they don't use loose leaf tea. I buy the same Dilmah tea and a bag costs a few kuai when you break down the cost. The tea was very weak in my opinion since one pot has one bag. Cream was provided and they don't have sugar cubes, only regular sugar packets. The three teired selections of sweets and a couple small bite size sanwhiches was ok but very average. The sweets were decent but the small sandwich bites were bland with no flavor whatsoever. In general I'd say for a better experience with ambience, better prepared tea, better food, go to Guomao World West Wing. The price is comparable and the experience is much better. After this I ended up going home and making tea myself. Corso Como dinner might be better but for afternoon tea, not worth it.
