Win Pizza: Gung Ho! Lido to Open November 9

Gung Ho! Pizza have announced that their second branch will open in Lido on November 9.

The new branch, opening in the former Peter's Tex-Mex space at Hairun International Apartments on Jiangtai Lu, expands on the original Gung Ho! with space for 35-40 diners ("More, if they're Tyrion-sized," adds Gung Ho! "marketing ninja" Rich Akers), as well as an office and a training center ("pretty cool," wheezes Akers). The menu will be basically the same, though be prepared for a Gung Ho! price hike - prices at the Sanlitun branch will be raised as of November 1. Akers tossed out this extra shuriken: "Our basic thrust is that we're so happy with the way everything's been going so far - from people liking the pizza, to great responses on our service, the pizza box art, the whole 'Go! Go! Go!' thing - all the things we've been doing, our main focus is that we just want to make sure the Lido store provides the same experience." Not much else to say at the moment, but click here for a sneak peek at the Lido delivery zone.

Being that they replaced the pete's tex mex old location, I think it would be perfect to have an honorary petes tex mex pizza or you can call it something like the mexican or the bandito or whatever. I'd throw on some taco seasoned beef, mild and spicy peppers, green onions, tomato and if you really want, a bit of nacho cheese or if you could jalapeno cheese or just mozza. Spicy, beefy, tex mexy.(Substitute seasoned beef for cajun chicken)
