Death Cab For Cutie: Win Tickets Plus Vedett Beer!

The JUE Music + Art Festival 2012 gets underway this Tuesday (Mar 6), and Death Cab For Cutie's gig at Tango this Saturday (Mar 10) is one of the highlights among a packed schedule featuring local and international bands and musicians, art exhibitions, film screenings and more. If you haven't picked up a copy of the March issue of the Beijinger, you can read our interview with Death Cab later this week on the blog, but right now we've got a chance for you to win a pair of tickets to the concert, courtesy of our Vedett-peddling friends at Duvel Moortgat Beijing.

As well as the tickets, Duvel Moortgat are throwing in a six-pack of Vedett for you to drink at home. Not a bad deal - so how do you win?

Vedett wants you to get your poetry hats on and write a haiku (that's a poem of three lines - 5 syllables, 7 syllables, then 5 syllables) featuring Death Cab For Cutie. The laws of haiku writing will be stringently applied, so no messing with the syllable count!

Leave your haiku as a comment in the space below this post. The deadline for entries is noon on Wednesday, March 7 - after that, the best entry as judged by us will win the tickets plus the six-pack.

For everyone who doesn't win, tickets for Death Cab For Cutie's gig at Tango on March 10 are still available and selling for RMB 360. Call 187 0113 3908 for more information.
