Shameless plug over, honest. What we want to share with you now is ten of the most interesting burger combinations as suggested by you readers during the last vote. Read on to be amazed, disgusted and worryingly hungry. The burgers, their names and their descriptions are all the work of the readers.
Many Roads Travelled Burger – Amy
"Chicken burger mixed with sautéed red onion and garlic, feta, some herbs and spices, topped with a runny sunny side up egg on a nice bun with mayo and ketchup served with sweet potato fries"
The Bloody Skinny – Beth Rollins
"A rare, flat (not super fat and round), beef burger topped with tomato, red onion, lettuce, and extra pickles and with a smear of BBQ sauce, ketchup, and mustard coated on the bun BEFORE the bun is heated on the grill."
The Corrupt Official – James Tiscione
"ricotta cheese, roasted red peppers, smoked bacon and pickled artichoke hearts"
The Dank Burger – Justin
"Cooked medium-rare to medium, lightly toasted potato bread bun. Habanero or Jalapeno pepperjack cheese, crispy bacon, caramelized onions, a few onion rings, and thick BBQ sauce on the side to dip (so the burger doesn't get messy and soggy)."
The Mount Olympus Burger – Kirby Carder
"Burger patty stuffed with feta cheese, topped with Greek yogurt that has basil and mint blended into it, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, in a pita for a bun."
The Sunday – Larry
"grilled, Angus beef mixed with chopped and fried onion, mid rare, in a soft grill bun. topped with Mayo, Mustard, onion, Tom, Lettuce, cheese"
The Ling Ling – Maggie Mok
"Maybe a little avocado and some panda meat."
The Great Grease Burger – Mark Singler
"1/2 pound of beef, lettuce to be healthy, onions, ketchup and mustard, cheese. The Beijinger Sesame street bun. cooked to well."
Fiery Apocalypse Burger – Peter Chorba
"A thick burger patty stuffed with bacon and blue cheese (make two thinner patties, make a pocket in the center of the bottom patty with blue cheese and bacon, then seal it with the top patty), a slice of pepper jack cheese, two whole pickled jalapenos, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise and a sesame seed bun."
The Traditional – Tom Nygren
"Mince of best quality, not too lean to have some fat that carry taste, medium cooked. Home made bun, not too soft and sweet, with sesame seeds. Toasted on the open sides. Home made mayonnaise (so much difference from ready made), Heinz ketchup, emmenthaler cheese, sliced sweet mature cherry tomatoes, crisp lettuce. That is it's Nothing more, nothing less! Bliss"

Re: Burger Cup 2012: Your Top Ten Twisted Burger Creations
Our friends at Home Plate make awesome burgers, and though it's been a while since I went to Union, I have good memories of the food there.
It's really too bad you haven't had a chance to try our burger! I'm not sure if you even vote, since you are the Admin, but even if you don't you should come try it.
By the way, we've still got our buy-one-get-one free deal going on til 10pm today. If you have time stop in tonight!

Home Plate and Union are strong contenders. I don't care too much for Fatburger (though love their onion rings). Brussels I've yet to try.

If fat burger wins then it is either an insult to the local restaurant industry or a refusal to accept calling any sandwich a burger.
...and blue frog beats fat burger, not that it is really an outstanding burger either- About the same burger as the Box, minus the putine.
