Talking Pints: Fritz Kalkbrenner and Reuben Wu Descend on Beijing
A couple of big parties that we've been waiting patiently for coming up this weekend. Is it me, or does it seem like every weekend has had a top event recently? This weekend doesn't break that cycle.
- For the party animals among you, Germany's Fritz Kalkbrenner spins at Haze tonight. There's been a lot of anticipation around this show, and he continues his world tour here in Beijing. Tickets are RMB 180 on the door.
- Suzy Wong's are having a Billboard charts night over at Chaoyang Park tonight (Mar 22). They'll be playing only number one chart hits all night.
- Los Residentes are back at The Bar at Migas with DJs Nassdak and Bite-Size Buddha supporting Bigote.
- Dada lets the girls take over as they hold Herstep night, with three female DJs choosing the tunes.
Tomorrow's a whopper, too:
- JUE Festival winds to a close with the Official Afterparty with Whale at EAST Beijing over in Lido.
- Another very highly anticipated show sees Ladytron's Reuben Wu in town for a set at The Bar at Migas.
- Dada hosts Antidote in Gulou.
- There's an Asian DJ banquet at Lantern where Japanese, Korean and Taiwanese DJs mix up Beijing's first Torque Party.
Plenty more where all that came from. Head across to our events section to see what I'm talking about.
Have a smasher of a weekend.
