Need Comic Relief? "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" Is Coming
Beijing has already seen one international comedy act, and this month, we're about to witness some stars of UK's "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" show Beijing Improv how it's done.
Stephen Frost, Andy Smart, Steve Sheen and Ian Coppinger will be in town Tuesday May 21 and Wednesday May 22 to create unplanned comedy sketches in front of a participatory audience.
You also might recognize "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" from its US spinoff (see video above) which aired on ABC starting in the late 90s, starring Ryan Stiles, Wayne Brady and Drew Carey. Stiles and Brady also both appeared in the UK version of the show.
Tickets are on sale now for the two nights of comedy, and you can pick up yours for RMB 300 at either Paddy's in Sanlitun or Beer Mania.
For more of this, Beijing Improv hosts weekly workshops and just wrapped up a comedy festival last month. Stay in the know about future events with our 7 Days in Beijing Newsletter or Community Events page.
