Community Matters: DIY Air Filter Workshop, Brawl on the Wall
Tired of spending thousands of RMB on high-tech air purifiers? Well, there is a simple remedy to this unfortunate dilemma: head out to see local personality Gus Tate at The Hutong tonight, where he'll present how to make your own RMB 200 air filter.
It is a simple concept buy a small fan, a filter, and a velcro strap to fasten the fan onto filter, then wammo, clean air! It may sound too easy to be true, but they have the data to prove it’s a viable method for removing those evil lung coating pollutants. See the data here.
This workshop won’t only teach you how to build your own filter, you will also leave with your own so that you can immediately start purifying your nest from these terrible particles.
Space is limited to 20 spots so RSVP with The Hutong ASAP. The event costs RMB 250 (which covers the cost of fan, filter, strap, and free beer) and starts at 7pm.
Can’t make it? Order a DIY kit or replacement filters on their website.
Nine bouts of boxing between 16-18 fighters will then decide who shall be crowned king of the ring, while the black-tied and high-paying audience cheer and jeer for their favorite ring-bound newb.
