Get Wild Jun 4-5 at These Wickedly Wet Events
Now that we are in the thrall of multiple 30-degree days, either hell has descended on earth or summer is officially here, along with all of that sweat that now secretes from every unflattering crevice of your body. That being said, a number of venues across town have heard your screams for secrete-friendly pool parties and prepared these gatherings to help to combat the heat.
Jun 4: Wild Wasted Wet II
Last year upwards of 700 people attended Wild Wasted Wet to drink, dance, and mingle poolside. Join the DreamTeam as they put together a wet and wild soiree to be remembered, with free drinks, dancing, and all of those pool specific shenanigans. Oh yeah and networking and all of those less fun things you can’t seem to avoid at any foreign-sponsored event. They are also offering a limited amount of free buses leaving from meeting points in Wudaokou and Sanlitun, taking revellers directly to the venue at scheduled times. Jun 4: For Foam's Sake
Kokomo and Cheers join forces to bring you a little rooftop foam party action this Saturday and a little taste of what it would be like to party hard in Ibiza, though likely with less indecent acts that are often obstructed by the foam. This party may be more wholesome, but there'll be lots of cheap bubbly on the premises supplied by the great folks at Cheers to make sure things get loose. They'll also be handing out free glasses of sparkling wine to all of the Cheers WeChat followers (ID: cheerswines). So bring your swim trunks, lotion, and an open mind because this is bound to get a little messy. Free. 2pm-12am. Kokomo
Jun 5: Dive In: Vol 2
The folks at Migas are back at it again this summer with their Dive In: Vol 2. Expect an adventure beyond the city limits filled with fun in the sun, delicious Mediterranean eats, and delicious cocktails all included. The Migas resident DJs will also be in attendance providing some chill house mixes to complement your brunch and poolside activities all day long. The location is secret, probably to prevent from undesirables crashing the party, but there will be free transport leaving from the 3.3 Mall in Sanlitun, on Sunday morning. RMB 680. 10am-7pm.
