EAT: Migas Mercado Now Open, Caravan Ramadan Iftar Buffet, Eudora Station Celebrates 13 Years

Apart from the fact that this week is only three working days long (hallelujah!), there are still plenty of exciting foodie happenings to stuff into the next few days.

Firstly, we're excited to finally announce that Migas Mercado over at the China World Mall is now open! They themselves call it "super hush hush soft opening," we call it open. More specifically, doors are open 10am to 10pm, and the kitchen is open from 11am to 2pm and 5-9pm, with a variety of different menus.

There's a set lunch menu to eat in-house or take away, a tapas menu with over 40 options, a tasting menu for something a little more elaborate, and of course a drinks menu, boasting five different types of sangria just in time for summer. We'll get back to you as soon as we've been over to try it.

Then, Caravan is hosting a special Moroccan Ramadan Iftar buffet through to the end of Ramadan on June 25. Whether you're fasting or not, head over between 7.30pm and 9.30pm to enjoy a wide spread of Moroccan soups, salads, tajine, and more at just RMB 100 per person. Kids under 12 are also welcome at a discounted RMB 60.

For something a little different, help Lido stalwart Eudora Station celebrate a massive 13th birthday, with a party set to take place in their back garden and the music room, from 6pm until closing on both June 2 and June 3. On June 2, Overdrive will provide music of the rock variety, whereas retro-jazzists the A-Q Jazz Band will perform through the night on June 3.

Tickets are RMB 198 (RMB 178 advance), which bags you open bar on craft beer and wine, and one round of barbecue. To find out more information about the event, call the organizers on 6437 8334.

For those of you with sweet teeth out there, Domain has launched their summer afternoon tea, running every day from noon till 6pm, priced at RMB 218 for two. From savory items like roast beef and smoked salmon, to sweet desserts and scones, this afternoon tea makes a great accompaniment to a day spent browsing Indigo Mall or exploring the nearby 798 Art District.
