GIVEAWAY! Plastered 8 Just Made the Only Christmas Decoration You Need This Year

First, they canned Beijing’s smog, now they’ve captured an entire smoggy Beijing scene. Plastered 8 are up to their usual tricks again, creating what might be the best Beijing-themed Christmas present-slash-decoration since last year's partially licked stick of tanghulu that’s still kicking around your apartment: behold, the Christmas Pollution Globe!

The Beijing-based creative brand came up with the concept after a discussion between owner Dominic Johnson-Hill and the Beijinger boss Mike Wester. As Wester describes it, "Unlike me, Dom actually gets things done, so I could not waste this great idea by letting it fester in my aging brain."

The Pollution Globe is brilliant for appealing to old and young generations alike, as well as relieving homesickness among those Beijingers who won't be able to experience the choking gray skies firsthand this holiday season, which is exactly the message that Plastered 8 hopes to convey.

Apart from the CCTV "Big Pants" Tower, which takes center stage, the base of the globe comes neatly painted with many of Beijing's best-known landmarks, including ... well, that's for you to say because we just so happen to have five of these nifty domes to give away!

All you need to do is name the eight famous buildings painted on the base (see image above) and send answers to win@truerun.com by noon on Monday, Nov 20, along with your name, phone number, and full Beijing mailing address.

If you would like to buy a globe, they're now available for RMB 228 via Plastered 8's Taobao store or at any of their regular brick and mortar locations.

One final note: If the globe breaks, we suggest that you refrain from eating the contents; they may just give you cancer.
