Precious Few Seats Remain for Chi Fan for Charity
Chi Fan for Charity 2019 is looking like it will be a resounding success with 95 percent of all 570 seats already booked – but there's still room for more!
As of Friday, seats at four tables remain for the dinners Saturday, Nov 9, and this year the organizers have added some themes to the mix so individual and small group diners can feast with likeminded people.
Scan the QR below for a full list of this year's tables or read on for descriptions of each table with open seats remaining:
Miam Miam (8 seats available) - Open Seating
Since opening at the Galleria Shopping Center this February, casual eatery Miam Miam has already carved out a spot for itself as a gourmet destination for all-day bites.
A translation of "yummy" in French, Miam Miam's name encapsulates its core ethos: to serve up food that is approachable, hearty, and above all else, delicious. Inspired by Europe's bustling and vibrant food markets, Miam Miam is a gastronomic hub featuring a diverse array of food stalls and live chefs where diners can meet and share a meal.
Their special menu for Chi Fan for Charity includes such delights as shrimp and avocado salad with pumpkin, quinoa and citrus pesto; cheesy Napoli pizza rolls; and 200g New Zealand sirloin or codfish and chips for the main.
Tribe Solana (9 seats available) - Fitness and Health Enthusiasts
Launched in Beijing in mid-2014, Tribe is an award-winning organic café/restaurant and we're proud to offer you the tastiest, healthiest food in Beijing and Shanghai!
This year, our table at CFFC will be hosted by the director of BActive 24H Fitness Sanlitun, Ankit Nayal. Nayal is a certified personal trainer and an active bodybuilder. He's been active in the Beijing Health and Fitness scene since 2016, and has been training since 2010.
Join for a fun, charming night of health-related chit chat, training tips and advice on optimizing your body, both physically and mentally. And we promise: no burpees at the dinner table!
Doko Gourmet (6 seats available) - Family-Friendly Table
For those living or working in Shunyi, Doko is a household name. Having three restaurants in the area and providing lunches to most international schools, Doko is a popular option amongst kids and parents alike.
Doko's new concept is a southeast Asian style restaurant that fuses classic taste with their continued focus on health and wellness. Doko Gourmet has a relaxed, sit down vibe where you are encouraged to order meals to share across the table with family and friends.
Their menu for Chi Fan for Charity includes everything from Phuket-style coconut tom yum goong to sushi and sashimi, to whole steamed sea bass with fresh Thai limes. At the end of the meal, every guest will have a very special mystery surprise that we are sure no one has tried before – and will leave you talking about it for the entire night!
Ganges Lido (9 seats available) - Open Seating With a Little Bit of Spice
With what must be the broadest menu of Indian food in Beijing, Ganges has something for everyone – over 80 different curries, including a whole lot of vegetarian choices, plus tandoor barbecue, a full selection of plain and flavored naans, biryanis and pulavs, and flavorsome Indian desserts.
Ganges' menu for Chi Fan for Charity was specially chosen for the event by General Manager Hetal Hemnani, and includes classics such as butter chicken, lamb rogan josh, aloo jeera (non-spicy), and pretty much all the delicious naan bread you can eat.
