Merrily, you won’t have to wait too much longer because BlackEXPO is coming back with its special Christmas Edition on Saturday, Dec 19 from noon-6pm at Modernista! And let us not forget the marvelous One Love Xmas Party that is the official BlackEXPO afterparty, hosted by Ambush Entertainment!

BlackEXPO is the exciting one-stop-all-you-ever-needed-and-more-than-you-knew-you-could-have holiday experience. You can get first dibs on the perfect gift from our merry array of vendors while being awed by the talented members of the Beijing community. To top it off you get access to the hottest party in town. As we said, it's a one-stop-shop for culture, supporting small businesses, entertainment, and memories. 

2020 has been a year of uncertainties and challenges, but BlackEXPO has always been a fun family event where we share and connect with friends, businesses, and unexpected opportunities. And we know it has been a long time since we last got together, and that is why BlackEXPO is perfect for this season. Thanks to the creative vendors and performers it’s good to be back!!

What is BlackEXPO?

What is BlackEXPO you ask? As a market, BlackEXPO is home to dozens of fantastic vendors with goods for everyone. As an experience, BlackEXPO has a plethora of enthralling cultural performances. As an event, there is nothing else as festive and vibrant as BlackEXPO! Lastly, as a community, BlackEXPO is open to all and welcoming to everyone regardless of where you are from. It is the BlackEXPO experience!

When did it start?

BlackEXPO started in Beijing in March 2018 and has since expanded to Shanghai and Shenzhen. Its original mission is still the same: to be a platform to spotlight the makers, shakers, and talents of the diaspora for all to see. We are a gathering place to support small businesses, promote great talents, and connect with each other. This Christmas Edition on Dec 19 is going to be all of that, and then some. 

When is it happening?

BlackEXPO is coming back with a Beijing Christmas Edition on Dec 19 at Modernista in the Baochao Hutong. The event will go from noon to 6pm. We hear there is also a jammin’ afterparty happening as well.
