Where Chaoyang-Based Foreigners Can Still Get Vaccines

Recently, the emergence of the Delta Variant has brought concerns to many Beijingers who have not been vaccinated yet. Many are wondering, but with many popular hospitals all booked up, some are wondering where to turn.

We’ve made phone calls to a bunch of hospitals and find out these are some of the foreign-friendly places to get yourself vaccinated if you haven't done so.

Who is qualified for these vaccinations?
Most of these hospitals will require you to be of Chaoyang residency qualify for vaccination. Be sure to have your residency registration slip handy.

You also have to be at least 18 years old or above to be qualified at these spots.

What should I bring on the day of vaccination？

Bring your passport and proof of Chaoyang residency with you on the day of vaccination.

What to expect on the day of vaccination?

You will have to scan the QR code scanned and have your temperature checked at the door before entering. You also need to prove you have been in Beijing for the past two weeks.

Do I need to make a reservation?

Most of these spots for have been filling fast and it is strongly recommended to call these places ahead or check online to make reservations before you come. Luckily, most of these places provide bilingual services and you don’t need to struggle with language barriers.

What type of vaccines will be used?

Most hospitals would use China’s domestic inactivated SARS-CoV-2 vaccines, and there will be two doses required.

There are currently three branches that are offering vaccines at this time: the Jiangtai branch, the Jianguomen branch, and the Guangqumen branch.
