FAQs About Participating in Juicy Burger Month '22

Juicy Burger Month is upon us! But since it's started, we've been getting a lot of questions in regards to how to participate in the event.

Here are the most frequently asked FAQs below:

Is Juicy Burger Month the same as Juicy Burger Cup?
No, these events are not the same. Juicy Burger Cup is a contest in which you and others like you vote to decide who makes Beijing’s best burger out of a pool of over 100 burger joints.

The Juicy Burger Month, on the other hand, is a three week-long promotional event (now 'til Dec 4) during which you can go out and try the burgers at 22 participating restaurants. Note that these restaurants are also in the Burger Cup contest, but in the same way our annual Burger Fest usually has a select few burger restaurants taking part, Burger Month is similar in this respect.

How do I participate in Juicy Burger Month?
Simply go to a participating Burger Month restaurant (scan the QR code below for a map of all locations) and ask for a Juicy Burger Month Passport, and order that specific restaurant’s Burger Month promotion burger/deal.

How do I get a Juicy Burger Month Passport?
As mentioned above, the first step is to go to a participating Burger Month restaurant. Then, ask the wait staff for a passport. You can use the following Chinese phrases:

我来参加theBeijinger巨C汉堡月 Wǒ lái cān jiā theBeijinger Jù-C Hàn Bǎo Yuè
(I’d like to take part in theBeijinger’s Juicy Burger Month)

我要一本巨C汉堡月的护照 Wǒ yào yì běn Jù-C Hàn Bǎo Yuè de hùzhào
(I’d like a Juicy Burger Month Passport)

Also, when you want to get a stamp in your passport, you can use this phrase:

我能盖一个章吗 Wǒ néng gài yí gè zhāng má
(Can I get a stamp?)

If the waitress doesn’t understand what I’m talking about, what should I do?
Either refer to the above Mandarin phrases or else show them one of our Juicy Burger Month posts. If you already have a passport, just show them the phrase on top of the righthand side page.

Can I get more than one stamp from one restaurant?
No. If you’re taking part in Burger Month, it’s only one stamp per location per passport. If you and a friend are sharing a passport, then you’ll get one stamp in the passport.

Do I have to buy the promoted burger to get the stamp?
Yes. Promoted burgers and deals were chosen by each restaurant brand to showcase what they feel is their best burger. Think of it as their way of letting you get to know their craft better.

Are all locations of every participating brand taking part in Burger Month?
While some burger brands like blue frog have all of their Beijing restaurants participating, others, like Jing-A and Great Leap, have selected specific stores where you can go and enjoy their Burger Month promotional deal.

Does this promotion work with waimai delivery or is it in store only?
Juicy Burger Month is in store dining only; you cannot take part in the promotion via delivery.

How long does this promotion last?
This promotion lasts from now until 11.59pm on Sunday, Dec 4.

How do I enter the Juicy Burger Month lucky draw?
To enter our lucky draw, all you have to do is take a photo of yourself holding up your passport with at least one stamp before the promotion deadline (see above) along with personal and contact details via the QR code below.

Once uploaded, you’ll be entered for the chance to win great prizes like RMB 100+ restaurant vouchers, afternoon tea at the Rosewood Beijing, or (if you get the MOST stamps) RMB 3,000 in cash!

Should I upload a photo of my passport every time I get a stamp?
No. Only upload a photo of you holding up your passport once.
