All Your China-CEEC Food and Music Fest FAQs Answered

There’s only one day left until the China-Central and Eastern European Food & Music Fest gets started, with things kicking off tomorrow (Oct 20) at 1pm at Chaoyang Park 08 Square. We have an amazing weekend of food, music and fun lined up for you with bands and performers, including world-renowned musicians, from a range of Central and Eastern European countries plus a great selection of food and drink that you won’t find anywhere else! 

So, ahead of the fest let’s answer any burning questions you may have!

What food and drink will be available at the China-Central and Eastern European Food & Music Fest?
We have a delectable array of food and drink vendors coming to the fest, serving up delicacies from across Central and Eastern Europe. You can see a full lineup of all the food and drink vendors here.  

Will there be other vendors there besides food and drink vendors?
Yes, we have a few market vendors at the fest as well, you can read more about them here, just scroll down to the market vendors section at the bottom.

Do I need to buy tickets?
No, the festival is free so you don’t need to buy tickets, however you do need to register which you can do by scanning the QR code below.

Can I register on site?
Yes, you can register on site, however please be aware if the festival is very busy there may be some crowd control so it’s best to register beforehand. 

What time does the festival start? Is there a schedule of activities?
The China-Central and Eastern European Food & Music Fest is running Oct 20 from 1-8pm and Oct 21-22 from 11am-8pm.

Which day is most recommended to go to the fest?
The peak day of the fest will be Saturday, so if you’re looking for a less busy day with fewer queues we recommend attending on Friday or Sunday. 

Can I bring children to the fest?
Yes, the event is completely family-friendly.

Can we bring pets to the fest?
No, unfortunately the venue isn’t pet friendly so you’ll need to leave your furry friends at home.

Where are the toilets located at the festival?
There are toilets located both north and south of where the festival is taking place. The closest toilets are located just north of the west entrance to the festival and just south of the east entrance to the festival.

How do I get to the festival?
The closest Chaoyang Park entrance to the festival is the West Gate, by Zaoying Station, once you go through the entrance you’ll need to walk north for about five minutes.

Ride Hailing App

If you’re using a ride hailing app simply type in Zaoying Station (枣营地铁站) and it’ll take you right to the West Gate of Chaoyang Park. 

Taxi

If you’re taking a taxi, just show your driver this: 枣营地铁站 Zǎoyíng Dìtiězhàn

Subway

The nearest subway station is Line 14’s Zaoying Station (枣营地铁站), you’ll need to go out of Exit A, from which you can easily access Chaoyang Park’s West Gate entrance.  

The China-Central and Eastern European Food & Music Fest will be taking place at 08 Square, Chaoyang Park on Oct 20 from 1-8pm and Oct 21-22 from 11am-8pm. Entry is free but registration is required. Scan the QR code in the poster above to register.
