Capital Promotions and Vedett Beer present CP5: Contender! Live Boxing and Muay Thai fights in Beijing on Saturday, May 27.

From contender to champion is a tough road, but our first Muay Thai champion will be crowned on May 27th in a bout featuring Xie Fang representing Jin Zhan Boji and Xu Shi Fan from Genuine Warriors Sport. Xie Fang has gone 4-0 in Capital Promotions competition with Xu Shi Fan a 3-0 veteran from Shuangjing Showdown who has gone on to compete professionally both in China and Thailand. The winner will take home the first Capital Promotions Championship belt. In another featured bout we have Uppercut head boxing coach Mardi Zulita taking on D.R. Congo's Christ in a boxing number one contender fight. The winner will challenge our top ranked fighter Alimu Wushouer in July for our first lightweight boxing belt. In another featured bout between Andrew from Craftsman Boxing taking on Xing An from the new AOC gym, the winner will challenge our top ranked middleweight Hayrulla in July for our first Super middleweight title.

Also on the cards we have some of our regular stars such as The Prodigy coming back after taking 5th place in the national youth tournament, as well as Wang Cong representing Legare gym taking on a tough young fighter from King fight team! Also a new addition to our card is the veteran professional southpaw Qingmu who is coming back to competition for the first time in three years and looking to get himself back on the road to a championship. In another number one contender bout, we have Nothing representing Fight Up taking on the Capital Promotions Muay Thai princess Wendy. Both undefeated in Capital Promotions shows and looking for their own championship fight down the line. In another key matchup we have Leo fighting out of Yilixiati gym taking on Li fighting out of Gao Rui in what is guaranteed to be edge-of-your-seat action. DingDing, a long time Beijing boxing veteran coming off of three consecutive wins returns to cement his place as the number contender at the 64-69KG weight class.

On April 6, the "West China Cycling Challenge Beijing Changping" held a press conference in the Future Science City of Changping District, Beijing, announcing the opening of the race registration, and announcing the route setting, schedule arrangement, registration methods and other relevant information. This is the first time that Huanxi brand with nearly a century of history has landed in China, and will present the essence of the original competition in Changping, Beijing, and interpret the unique charm of the event to the world.

"Tour of West China Cycling Challenge Beijing Changping" Event Highlights
 
The "West China Cycling Challenge Beijing Changping" will be held on June 17-18, 2023. In the two-day competition, four unique events will be held, including individual circle race, team time trial, family fun cycling and road race, to meet the needs of different groups of people. There are two groups in the event: "Legend Group" and "Amateur Group." According to the regulations of the China Self Cycling Association, the timing is scored, and the competitors will get medals after the race.
 
The Individual Lap Race, Team Time Trial and Family Fun Ride on June 17 are "amateur" races open to the public. The individual lap race and team time trial are 5km lap race with a total of 5 laps and a total of 26.2 km; The Family Fun Ride is a 5km long lap race that takes less than an hour to complete. The starting point and ending point are located in the Sports Center of the Future Science City in Changping District. Ride along the East Road of the Future Science City, the North Second Street of Yingcai, the Future Science City Road and the Future Science City Avenue. The biking section of the Future Science City is spacious with dual four-way lanes, passing two iconic bridges, providing participants with a relaxed and pleasant urban landscape.
 
The total length of the road race to be held on June 18 is 102.5 kilometers, including 7 kilometers of honor cycling distance and 95.5 kilometers of competition cycling distance. The track is intermediate in difficulty. The starting point and end point are also located in the Future Science City Sports Center. The track will pass through the Ming Tombs Reservoir in Changping District. Participants will get the cycling experience of the reservoir dam, which is only once a year, and pass through the Ming Tombs, a world cultural heritage site and a national 5A tourist attraction. It is worth mentioning that for the first time, the Wangbai Road stage is open to cyclists to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the valley. At the same time, the Wenyu River Greenway was added to the track line, and the ride on the boulevard was relaxed and ready for the final sprint. The "West China Cycling Challenge Beijing Changping" will be set up in a completely closed circuit to fully protect the safety of participants, spectators and tourists.
