Not Just Another Art Party
This Friday, Hot Cat Club celebrates art like never before with artists of various mediums showcasing their work for all to enjoy. Join them for a unique and exciting night filled with music, dance, and, of course, art. DJ Green B will be spinning house music, R&B, and reggae to keep you moving, that is when you're not participating in the art yourself (be prepared). All proceeds will go to Artists Abroad for their initiatives in supporting arts education in underserved communities. 9pm. RMB 60. Hot Cat Club
Peng: Party Animals
Peng’s Party returns to Migas for an electrifying night filled with mystery and thrills. DJ Pancake Lee and his crew will be manning the decks, playing to the crowd in their animal masks, distributed at the entrance, to help satisfy masquerade fantasies. Shadowplay presents DJ Stingray
Over in Dada, it won't b the crowd that are wearing masks but instead the otherworldly DJ Stingray. Having first learned how to spin from DJ Moodymann, and later touring with DJ Drexciya, the Detroit-born Stingray "specializes in sick dance tunes and nothing else." Life's a Beach
It’s about time someone hosts a(nother) beach party. This Saturday, Litt Up host an epic party filled with fireworks, food, poolside fun, and lots and lots of drinks. Games such as tug of war, beach soccer, volleyball, and limbo will be available for all to play. Food provided will include snacks, barbecue, and refreshing fruits. If that isn’t tempting enough, all of the beer is free. Electro, blues, and house tunes will be blasting as you soak up the sun courtesy of DJs Moe, Zuza, Winn, among others. Tropicana Sundown by Club Paradise
Sip on cocktails as you watch the sun set over Beijing’s city center from Migas’ comfy rooftop. Tropicana Sundown brings you tropical vibes and summery tunes provided by the talented DJs of Club Paradise. Organic's 1st Birthday with Chris Cruse (pictured above)
Organic is turns one this Saturday and to celebrate they're going to explor the roots of house and techno music. Special guest, LA-based DJ Chris Cruse provides the perfect soundtrack, his sounds are heavily influenced by the confluence of dark warehouses and West Coast sunshine. Alton Miller at Migas
Detroit emissary Alton Miller is a seasoned and brilliant house music DJ who continues to leave his mark in the genre. Miller learned the intricacies of house music firsthand from legends such as Larry Levan, Frankie Knuckles, and Ron Hardy, and over the past 25 years has steadily released hits as well as create amazing labels like Moodymann’s Mohagani and Kevin Saunderson’s KMS, to name a few. 10pm-4.30am.
