Pizza Fest Is Back On! Prep Your Togas for Galaxy Soho, Oct 19-20
Never one to be foiled by a sudden change of plans, we here at the Beijinger pride ourselves on giving the good people what they want most in life. What do you want most in life, you say? A goddamn pizza spectacle for the ages is what! That's why after a brief postponement we're happy to announce that Beijing Pizza Fest 2019 is back on, returning to Galaxy Soho on Saturday and Sunday, Oct 19-20.
While the upcoming government celebrations mean that the city is about to go on lockdown, we're taking advantage of being trapped indoors to make sure that this year's pizza party is the best yet. We're also sticking to our Ancient Roman and toga theme, setting the scene for a true feast of Bacchanalian proportions.
To get you in the frame of mind to befit such an occasion, we're giving each and every one of you the opportunity to buy an entire toga outfit along with your ticket ahead of this year's Pizza Festival. There are several options depending on how deep you want to get (and we all know deep and pizza are a match made in heaven):
- RMB 20: A ticket to the fest plus an olive branch wreath
- RMB 60: A ticket to the fest plus a toga, waistband, olive branch wreath (including delivery)
- RMB 50: A ticket to the fest plus a 2019 Pizza Fest T-shirt and olive branch wreath
- RMB 60: Three tickets to the fest plus a picnic blanket
To avoid disappointment,
buy your tickets for this year's Pizza Fest here!
October's event will also see us return to our regular venue of Galaxy Soho – easily one of the best for parties in central Beijing. Grand, sweeping, and spacious enough to hold close to 20,000 people over a two-day foodie extravaganza, Galaxy Soho has become a second home to us over the years. It's the perfect space for food and drinks vendors to sit side-by-side with live music, DJs, entertainment, competitions, and fun for all the family!
We're also excited to announce that this year also marks the inaugural Shanghai Pizza Fest, Oct 26. If you happen to live down south, want a reason to visit, or have friends that might be interested, check out all the tasty details here.
In the meantime, read about the (no) fun you can expect in Beijing this October holiday.
